Travel Planning & Trip Consulting
Travel is overwhelming – there’s too much information out there, too many choices, the FOMO and the fear that you’ve paid more than the next person. Add the AI layer in and no one knows what’s right and doesn’t want to make a mistake because travel is an investment. You may have dreamt of the destination, saved for years for the bucket list trip or are traveling solo for the first time. We are all afraid of making mistakes and disappointing ourselves when the flight, hotel or destination doesn’t live up to the social media we’ve seen that led us here.
After over 20 years managing business travel, a decade writing my travel blog and five years of teaching “How to Travel for Less”, I’m happy to help you cut through the travel noise to discover the destination that will create lasting memories at your budget. If you want to travel, I want to help you make it happen. I want to add value to your travels. One caveat, is that I’m not booking coach airfare at this time unless the vendor includes it (e.g. cruises).
Let’s start the planning either with the quick intake form from Fora Travel or by email at suzanne@ardenroadtravel.com

Travel Planning and/or Points & Award Travel Consulting (we chat about it but you book it) – starting at $250
For those who don’t know where they want to go but they have a lot of points to use, I offer trip consulting, starting at $250. We will discuss your top destinations and how best to use points and cash for the plethora of choices you have. I will share an itinerary that you can then book on your own, when you want. I do not book the trip for you. This is the best of both worlds as you get travel consulting advice and have the flexibility to decide.
Sounds Easy Enough (probably not given the logistics) – starting at $150
You want a packed itinerary of activities, private guides or unique experiences that involve multiple vendors that do not pay travel agent commissions so this fee covers my time (researching) and your time (saved).
It’s Complicated (the trip not you!) – starting at $300
For those who want a more complicated itinerary with multiple types of travel or are thinking of a multi-generation trip, planning fees will start at $300.
Sporting Events & Music Concert Travel – fees will vary by event due to the need to include third party vendors with luxury access.
If you want a hotel in Vegas for the Eagles at the Sphere, or follow your favorite sports team that’s free via the hotel link.
If you want to go to play golf in Scotland with private whiskey tasting or attend a popular sports event, that’s a lot more work to organize and that’s the reason there are fees which vary.
